RFP #202105 NON-EMERGENCY PATIENT TRANSPORTATION

ECMCC is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide non-emergency ambulate transportation services to and from Erie County Medical Center for approximately 350 patients monthly that do not have transportation coverage through insurance. The vendor’s services will accommodate ECMCC patients/population transfers across our campus, into the community, and to other health care institutions. The vendor must demonstrate its ability to provide quality transportation services to patients of all ages that may have cognitive impairments and/or a variety of illnesses. The scope of work is not anticipated to not include ambulatory, wheelchair or taxi services for ECMCC’s Emergency Departments at this time; however, these may be added at a later date. Accordingly, although vendors will not be evaluated for these services at this time, they should provide pricing in the event ECMCC determines it is necessary to also award these services in the future.
