ECMC Celebrates National Healthcare Decisions Day

On Tuesday, April 16th, Erie County Medical Center in collaboration with University at Buffalo, Daemen College and D’Youville College hosted informational tables, distributing resources about advance care planning and advance directive forms. This unified effort highlighted the importance of advance healthcare decision-making—an effort that has culminated in the formal designation of April 16 as National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD). Mayor Byron Brown attended the table at the UB Medical Campus to present the Proclamation that April 16th was designated as National Healthcare Decisions Day in the City of Buffalo.
