ECMC Appoints Michelle Kraus As Administrator of Long-term Care

BUFFALO, NEW YORK — Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) Corporation officials today announced the appointment of Michelle Kraus as Administrator of Long-term Care for the Corporation.

In this capacity, Michelle Kraus oversees ECMC’s Terrace View Long-Term Care Facility. Michelle has strong administrative experience throughout the long-term care industry and brings extensive leadership skills to this position. Most recently, she served as Associate CEO/Health Center Administrator for Fox Run at Orchard Park. She has led multiple long-term care administrative teams with significant focus on strategic objectives including the attainment for another facility of a CMS 5-Star Rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which ECMC has also attained in 2019 and intends to sustain.

Michelle Kraus holds a Master of Science degree in Health Service Administration from D’Youville College, Buffalo, N.Y. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Management from S.U.N.Y. Brockport, Brockport, N.Y. and an Associate’s degree in Human Services from Hilbert College, Hamburg, N.Y.
