Ear, Nose, Throat and Head/Neck Surgery (Otolaryngology)

The Department of Otolaryngology and head/neck surgery provides medical and surgical services for people with ear, nose and throat problems. Specialty services include care for those with maxillofacial (jaw and face) trauma; advanced head and neck cancer; ear disorders, including hearing loss and dizziness; communication and voice disorders; and allergic, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the head/neck. Facial, plastic and reconstructive surgeries are conducted. The department has facilities for advanced audiologic (hearing) testing and hearing aid evaluation. Minor outpatient surgical procedures are performed for placement of ear tubes as well as removal of skin cancers.
