Great Lakes Medical Imaging provides expert diagnostic and interventional radiology services for ECMC. Radiologists are board-certified and fellowship trained for in several subspecialties including Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine.
Radiology Technologists are licensed by New York State and certified in their specialty. Radiology Nurses have critical care experience and work with the radiologists and Radiology Physician Assistants. The entire team are dedicated to deliver the highest quality care.
ECMC performs 170,000+ procedures annually-more than any other single healthcare facility in Western New York.
ECMC also has one of the most advanced and innovative Interventional Suites for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; boasting Fellowship trained Interventional Radiologists performing interventions and therapies such as: TIPS procedures, Y-90, vein and uterine ablation, biopsies, drainages, line placements, and pain management just to name a few.
Board-Certified radiation physicists serve as safety officers, providing on-site compliance and accreditation testing for Diagnostic and Radiopharmaceutical studies
We are integrated electronically with your physician, and thus results are available near instantaneously through a secure website.

- Bariatric Capabilities for CT/ Interventional Angiography, Diagnostic / & Fluoroscopic Radiology
- Bone Densitometry (DEXA scans)

- Diagnostic Radiology/ Scoliosis studies
- Digital and Computed Radiography both stationary and portable units
- Fluoroscopy including: Gastrointestinal/ Swallow Function tests/ Urology procedures
