ECMC’s Center for Rheumatology services specialize in treating patients with inflammatory joint diseases and connective tissue diseases.

Here, our experienced team of rheumatologists and connective tissue specialists works closely with experts in orthopedics, rehabilitation, nephrology, hematology and neurology to ensure that patients have access to broad expertise for the healthiest outcomes.

Each week, the Connective Tissue service offers diagnosis and treatment for conditions including:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Seronegative spondyloarthritis (ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease Associated Arthritis)
  • Gout
  • Pseudogout
  • Systemic lupus erythematosus
  • Systemic sclerosis (scleroderma)
  • Polymyositis and dermatomyositis
  • Systemic vasculitis (granulomatosis polyangiitis, microscopic polyangitis, giant cell arteritis, Takayasu’s arteritis, cryoglobulinemic vasculitis)
