ECMC Nurses of Distinction
At ECMC, all our nurses are Nurses of Distinction. ECMC nurses are dedicated and compassionate. They are committed to being responsive and sensitive to patients needs. One main reason for this dedication is that we offer a supportive, professional environment for nurses. To ease transition of new staff, the Nursing Education Department develops an individualized orientation for each new nursing employee. Continuing education, including a comprehensive preceptor program, is offered to keep our nursing staff current and often “ahead of the curve” with regard to changes in such areas as nursing methodology, practice, emerging technology and more. Our emphasis on education and training allows ECMC nurses to develop their skills with confidence in a variety of settings.
