Dr. Sarah Abdelsayed is a family medicine physician at the ECMC Family Health Center, where she sees children, adolescents, adults, seniors/elderly patients.
Dr. Abdelsayed is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Previously, she was an attending physician at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ and co-chief resident at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Abdelsayed is board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She serves as a Core Faculty member for the UB Addiction Medicine fellowship. At the ECMC Family Health Center, Dr. Abdelsayed enjoys integrating prevention and treatment of substance use disorders into her delivery of compassionate primary care. She speaks Arabic fluently and basic Spanish. Honors she has received include the ECMC Family Medicine Attending Award (2020, 2018), the Next Generation Award from the American Board of Addiction Medicine Foundation, and a Medical Student Teaching Award from Rutgers.
