Occupational Medicine
The Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (COEM) provides a diverse range of clinical services including diagnostic programs, early detection, treatment, workers comp and disability management, referral, social work and wellness in the workplace. The primary goal of the COEM is to prevent workplace illness and injury. The work involves providing clinical services and preventative education and outreach in the daily operation of the COEM, as well as employee health services for Erie County Medical Center employees.
Job Description
ADMINISTRATIVE and CLINICAL FUNCTIONS:As the staff physician, the incumbent participates in hands-on clinical care, assisting in training for nurses and non-clinical team members, and delivering optimum care to patients. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, Director of Systems Health and Safety, and Vice-President of Ambulatory Care & Population Health, in addition to receiving guidance from a community based advisory board.
Qualifications
- MD or DO required, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Occupational Medicine (preferred).

- Salary Range $225,000 – $305,000*

*Base rate is not inclusive of productivity and quality incentives that service line specific positions may qualify for in their department. Signing, retention and relocation bonuses may also be available and would also be in addition to base salary compensation. The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting. When determining pay, several factors will be considered including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and budget.
