Biography
Dr. Yuri Bychkov is proud to join ECMC as an interventional pain physician, bringing advanced training and a patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Bychkov returns to Buffalo after several years away, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep appreciation for the city where his academic journey began.
Dr. Bychkov completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Albany Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Rochester. There, he trained under leading experts in the field, gaining proficiency in the latest evidence-based approaches to the treatment of chronic pain. He is dual board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Bychkov is committed to a patient-centered model of care, integrating advanced interventional techniques with a strong emphasis on improving functional outcomes and quality of life. He remains deeply engaged in advancing the field of pain management and is dedicated to the development of innovative therapies that restore health and well-being.
