Biography

Dr. Amin is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in General Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  She works with patients with various diagnosis and specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Postpartum Depression, PTSD.

Dr. Amin completed general residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the State University of New York Downstate where she was appointed academic chief and saw a multitude of patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Amin also serves on the faculty of the University at Buffalo, training medical students as well as psychiatric residents in a clinical setting.

Dr. Amin is a member of the: State University of New York Downstate Grand Rounds Committee (2021–2022); New York Council on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Member in Training Committee Co-Chair, Board member (2020–2022); Health Administrative Scholars Program (2020–2022); American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2019–present); and American Psychiatric Association (2017–present).
