Biography

Dr. Cynthia Pristach is chief psychiatrist at the Regional Behavioral Health Center of Excellence at ECMC.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cynthia Pristach is Professor of Psychiatry and Director of Residency Training in Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Pristach has undertaken a variety of research efforts over the course of her career, including investigation into the health of the community in Erie County.

Beyond her clinical and research activities, Dr. Cynthia Pristach is a member of the American College of Psychiatrists, the Western New York Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training.
