Christian R. DeFazio, MD

Biography

Dr. Christian DeFazio is an attending staff physician in the emergency department at ECMC. Prior to becoming a member of the teaching faculty affiliated with the emergency medicine residency at ECMC, he worked extensively as a community emergency physician.

His past roles include Assistant Clinical Director of the emergency department and Quality Improvement Coordinator, both at Buffalo General Hospital.

As Director of the University at Buffalo Emergency Medicine Residency, in addition to his role as clinical assistant professor, his primary interest lies in educating emergency medicine residents.
