Brian A. Monaco, MD

Biography

Dr. Brian A. Monaco is an attending physician in the Emergency Department at ECMC, specializing in Emergency Ultrasound.

Point of Care Ultrasound is used in the Emergency Department to help diagnose and treat emergent conditions. Dr. Monaco serves as the Director of Emergency Ultrasound at ECMC and helps facilitate the QI (Quality Improvement) and education of Emergency Ultrasound.

In addition to this role, Dr. Monaco is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
