Biography

Dr. Tadakamalla serves ECMC as our Associate Medical Director and the President-Elect of the ECMC Medical Executive Committee. Formerly, he was the director of our hospitalist program, an associate chief of internal medicine, and a physician advisor. Prior to that, he worked as a hospitalist at Apogee Medical Group. Dr. Tadakamalla completed his internal medicine residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center at Michigan State University. His preliminary general surgery residency was completed at Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland. Dr. Tadakamalla is a board-certified internal medicine physician and has published various academic papers on topics throughout internal medicine. Dr. Tadakamalla has been recognized multiple times as Program Director of the Month and his team was awarded Program of the Month on multiple occasions. In 2020, he also received an award for Extraordinary Service from the Department of Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo.
