
BUFFALO, NEW YORK—Following an extensive search process, Julie Kline has been named Chief Human Resources Officer of ECMC Corporation. After receiving strong interest from highly experienced candidates, Julie Kline was selected to serve in this role.
A native of Minnesota, Julie Kline, SHRM-SCP, has worked in various human resources leadership positions
including in the healthcare industry. She specializes in organizational transformation and growth, leadership development programming, operational excellence, talent acquisition and employee retention.
Most recently, Julie Kline served as Chief Human Resources Officer of MercyOne/Trinity Health, North Iowa, where she reduced voluntary turnover and focused on driving solutions related to talent acquisition, and conducted state-wide leadership training to over 500 MercyOne leaders. She also supported Trinity Health in building a national pilot geared towards supporting nursing students and acclimating them into the profession. Prior to her MercyOne role, she was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at North Memorial Health, Minneapolis, MN, a healthcare institution including two hospitals, more than 6,500 FTEs and 25 clinics, where she implemented AI technology to eliminate redundant processes and procedures that produced more operational efficiency. As a Human Resources Consultant for Kline Consulting North America, she was contracted by various national healthcare systems and teaching hospitals to serve in leadership functions and implement strategic initiatives. She served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources of Rust Consulting North America with offices in the eastern, western and southern U.S., supporting staff in the U.S. and other countries. She also served as Vice President of Human Resources for Performark Marketing, Minneapolis, MN, where she implemented B2B marketing campaigns for midsize to Fortune 1000 companies.
Julie Kline holds a Mini-master’s in Management degree from St. Thomas Executive Education and a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University, and she is certified as a SHRM Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and mediator. She has presented at various speaking engagements and has received numerous awards.
