Biography

Dr. Daoust is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery. This includes elective surgeries, trauma as well as congenital and post traumatic deformity correction. She is especially interested in limb deformity and correction of congenital deformity.

Dr. Daoust served four years with the U.S. Air Force in general orthopaedics including sports medicine, total joint arthroscopy, trauma, and foot and ankle orthopaedics. After completing her active duty commitment, she completed a fellowship with specialty training in foot and ankle surgery.

A staff member of UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Dr. Daoust is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Her many honors include promotion to the rank of Major in the USAF Medical Corps in 2015, induction into the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society in 2014, and the Peter A. Casagrade, MD, Award for Outstanding Performance in Residency in 2014.
