BUFFALO, NEW YORK—Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) today has updated information regarding the patients that were transported on Friday, August 22, 2025 to ECMC from the tour bus crash scene on the New York State Thruway.

A total of 21 patients were transported to ECMC on 8/22/25.

Discharged Patients

Seventeen (17) patients have been discharged from ECMC. Five (5) of those patients were discharged today.

Inpatients

Four (4) patients remain admitted to ECMC as inpatients in our Medical/Surgical units. All four are listed in stable condition.
