CMC’s Dr. Mark Falco, a plastic surgeon who specializes in advanced reconstructive procedures, including complex breast reconstruction (such as DIEP flaps), lymphedema surgery, and microsurgery using both traditional and robotic-assisted techniques, appeared recently on WGRZ-TV’s WNY Living to discuss his use of the Symani® Surgical System, a first-of-its-kind robotic technology developed by Medical Microinstruments, Inc. that will increase access to treatment options and improve the quality of life for patients at ECMC.
