ECMC and ECMC Foundation Award Scholarships
The Erie County Medical Center Corporation (ECMCC) and ECMC Foundation awarded $56,000 in scholarships for the ECMC Foundation Nursing Professional Development Fund for ECMCC staff to establish or further careers in nursing.
The scholarship funds provide nancial support for ECMCC employees who met speci c guidelines to establish or further their careers in nursing. The one- time grants of $1,000 per person were awarded to 56 qualifying ECMCC employees who are pursuing their Registered Nursing (RN) degree or Registered Nurses who are pursuing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Congratulations!

She was doing her morning
med pass (precepting a new hire) and the patient was to receive Lovenox. Med was given. When she went back to the emar, she saw pharmacy added an extra daily dose. She noti ed them immediately and second dose was removed from emar.
