Dr. Edwards cares for patients with liver disease and addiction disorders, including opiate dependency and linkage to care for hepatitis treatment between inpatient rehabilitation and the ECMC Center for Hepatology Care. In addition to his care for patients in Hepatology, Dr. Edwards also works as a resident supervising attending and clinical practices of medicine attending facilitating medical student training in the Internal Medicine dedicated clinic.
Dr. Edwards is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, where he was awarded the Gold Humanism in teaching award for teaching excellence.
Dr. Edwards is a member of the American Medical Association. He served as a Chief Medicine Resident during his residency and has a passion for clinical teaching of residents and medical students.
