Bishop Michael Badger is secretary of ECMC’s Board of Directors.

Bishop Michael Badger was consecrated as a Bishop in 2008 and has been the Senior Pastor of Bethesda World Harvest International Church since 1990.
He previously served for seven years at an international television ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was responsible for overseeing the Department of Guest Relations.

As the Senior Pastor of Bethesda World Harvest International Church, Bishop Michael Badger shepherds a multi-cultural congregation and oversees a multifaceted staff of employees and volunteers. Under his leadership, Bethesda has completed a 3.5 million dollar church renovation to facilitate additional ministry to Bethesda, Buffalo, and the Body of Christ.

Bishop Michael Badger is the founder and chairperson of Bethesda CDC, which is responsible for the purchase of the 1.3 million dollar purchase of the Utica Square 17,000 sq. ft. property on the corner of E. Utica and Main Streets. He is the President of Destiny Enterprise, which recently purchased a Subway franchise. He is the founder of the Sarah Minnie Badger Foster Care Agency and oversees several churches in the Buffalo and Syracuse area.

He recognizes his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and live by example to impact and empower Bethesda, Buffalo and many nations in the world. He travels annually to the Ivory Coast with a team to minister, conduct pastoral conferences and take needed supplies. He was instrumental in the establishment of several churches, medical facilities, and orphanages in the Ivory Coast. Bishop Michael Badger has sponsored mission trips to Zaire and Ghana. He has also ministered in Singapore, Malaysia, Togo, and has been to Korea.

He and his wife, Lady Joyce Badger, have been married for more than 30 years and live in Lancaster, New York. They are the proud parents of two sons, ArMonde (Elizabeth) Badger and DeMario (Nia) Badger, who are also active in ministry at Bethesda, a daughter, Tara Fulgham (Rodney) and four grandchildren; Michal, Brooke and DeMario Badger and Daijha Fulgham.
