ECMC Benefit Enrollments through UKG Kronos Employee Self-Service

Enrollments and benefit updates are changing this year.  All benefit enrollments and submissions must be made through UKG Kronos Employee Self-Service.   You will find the UKG Kronos Benefits Open Enrollment Guide with instructions on how to make changes or update to your benefits here: UKG Kronos Open Enrollment User Guide.

Please note that paper applications are no longer available.

Medical and Dental Premiums

Premiums are subject to change annually. The employee’s bi-weekly deduction for premiums are determined by the collective bargaining agreements for those in a union position. If you are Management Confidential (MC), your responsibility is determined by ECMC policy. The medical premiums for 2022 did change and the applicable rates were mailed to your home address.

Medical Insurance Updates

Blue Cross and Blue Shield is now Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Regardless if you are making any changes to your medical insurance, all employees will receive new medical insurance cards in the mail for the 2022 plan year. Be sure to bring your new Highmark BCBS card with you to your doctors appointments in the 2022 calendar year.

Flexible Spending Accounts

The IRS determines how much individuals are able to contribute to flexible spending accounts each year. The 2022 limits for the Medical Flexible Spending account will increase from $2,700 to $2,750. The limits for both Dependent Care Flexible Spending and Individual Premium Reimbursement Accounts will remain at $5,000.

457(b) Maximum Contribution Limits

The IRS limits how much employees can contribute to the 457(b) plans each year. The 2022 limits will be provided upon issuance by the IRS.
