Dr. Gregory Castiglia is Chief of Neurosurgery at ECMC, specializing in treatment of the spine and neurosurgery trauma. His clinical interests include herniated and degenerative disk disease, spinal stenosis, facet syndromes, spinal infections, tumors, capal/cubital tunnel syndrome, and brain disorders.
Prior to his current leadership role, he served as Chief of Neurosurgery and Medical Staff President at Sisters of Charity Hospital.
Board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Gregory Castiglia is also Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition, he is a member of a number of professional and medical associations, including: the American Association of Neurological Surgeons; the American Medical Association; the Erie County Medical Society; the Medical Society of the State of New York; the North American Spine Society; the Congress of Neurological Surgeons; and the Fellowship American College of Surgeons.
