ECMC’s Center for Orthopaedic Care offers comprehensive orthopaedic care to manage disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal (muscle and bone) system.

Our orthopaedics and sports medicine specialists excel in treating patients in a range of circumstances, from planned orthopaedic work to treatment of major trauma, customizing patient plans depending on what is best for each individual situation.

Each of our orthopaedics experts specializes in a specific area, so whether you need treatment for your hand, foot, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, hip, or spine, you’ll receive the very best care. In addition, we have a dedicated, specialized nursing staff just for the orthopaedics department to support the specialists and surgeons who are on-site and on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Foot & Ankle Center

Your feet and ankles are highly specialized structures that need highly specialized medical care for the best and most-reliable outcomes. The Russell J. Salvatore Orthopaedic Unit

In 2015, ECMC proudly opened the Russell J. Salvatore Orthopaedic Unit, the newest orthopaedic, physical medicine, and rehabilitation facility in Western New York. With a focus on clinical expertise, compassionate care, and a commitment to the best orthopaedic experiences, the Unit offers:
