Diabetes/Endocrinology/Metabolism
The Endocrinology Clinic provides consultation and ongoing follow-up to patients who are referred by a primary care physician. The clinical spectrum of diseases seen by Dr. A. John Ryan reflects a broad array of common and unusual endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Physician referrals should include the patient's history, a physical, appropriate lab data and the reason for referral.
The clinic serves as a primary teaching site for the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and affiliated residencies and fellowships in endocrinology and metabolism. Along with Dr. Ryan, fellows, residents and students see patients.
