The Adult, Child and Family Outpatient Psychiatric Service offers family therapy, individual treatment, group therapy, psychiatric assessment and medication prescription management and consultation.

Gero-Psychiatry Services

ECMC Behavioral Health is also the largest provider of inpatient Gero (Geriatric)-Psychiatry services, with a designated inpatient unit designed to meet the needs of the elderly. This service provides treatments for such health problems as depression, anxiety, loss of control, thought disorders, suicidal tendencies and aggressive behavior.

Inpatient Services

This service, the largest acute-care psychiatric program for hospitalized patients in Erie County, serves both adults and adolescents. Patients are treated for a variety of mental and emotional problems and can be admitted any time of the day or night. The unit works with patients and their families to help patients return to life in the community as quickly as possible.
