Today, Erie County Medical Center Corporation commemorated the installation of the last steel beam for ECMC’s future state-of-the-art Trauma and Emergency Department facility. Staff members, including doctors and nurses, board members and administrators, were on hand to sign the building’s highest beam and have it raised and placed onto ECMC’s new Trauma and Emergency Department building currently under construction.
