Two leading WNY health systems
joining forces for better care.
Through the Great Lakes Health System, ECMC and Kaleida Health are consolidating chronic kidney disease services to better serve the patients of Western New York. This partnership will provide the unprecedented opportunity to develop a world class program that will not only serve WNY but could become an economic engine for ECMC, the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, and the University at Buffalo’s initiative.
The Regional Center of Excellence for Transplantation and Kidney Care on the ECMC campus will support a continuum of care for patients from the time they are diagnosed with CKD through the process of a transplant, if needed, post-transplant care, and all aspects of kidney disease.
