Compliance

The Code of Conduct is designed to help employees understand what it means to “do the right thing.” Our Compliance efforts are designed to advance the culture within ECMC that encourages prevention, detection, and resolution of instances of conduct that do not conform to federal and state law and private payer healthcare program requirements. ECMC expects and requires all personnel to conduct themselves in a law-abiding, honest, and trustworthy manner.

The basic principles of the ECMC code of conduct are:

  • Be honest and ethical
  • Obey the law
  • Be truthful
  • Honor confidences
  • Report conduct that concerns you
  • Adhere to duty to comply
